1. Twitterfall.com. 

Twitterfall is a way of viewing the latest ‘tweets’ of upcoming trends on the micro-blogging site Twitter. Updates fall from the top of the page in near-realtime. Unlike other sites, Twitterfall purely does trends (for now). Because of this, we can be efficient – Twitter is queried from the Twitterfall server, and results are pushed to your browser, rather than your browser doing the queries, or your computer polling our server repeatedly.

2. TwitterGadget 

The Gmail Twitter Gadget  is a new gadget for Gmail that allows users to update, read tweets from Gmail. It lets you tweet your heart out from directly inside Gmail, complete with saucy emoticons.  Go to Gmail Labs and turn on the Gadgets tool. The Gadgets tool will become another tab at the top of your Gmail settings. Click on that and insert: http://www.twittergadget.com/gadget_gmail.xml into the text box. Click Save and you’re all done. Go back out to Gmail, sign in, and you can use Twitter from your inbox.

3. TweetDeck 

TweetDeck, is yet another Twitter client built on AIR. TweetDeck features full integration with Summize, and lets you customize your Twitter experience, through dedicated columns for your feed, your replies, searches, and even the ability to create custom groups of those you follow on Twitter for a micro-feed. TweetDeck offers four major columns in which to organize Twitter data: “All Tweets”, essentially your friends’ timeline, “Replies”, showing replies to you, the equivalent of Twitter’s replies tab, “Search”, which will keep a running search window open for a term you’ve selected, and “Group”, which lets you make a sub-set of those you follow on Twitter, and make a miniature timeline.

4.Twingly Launches Microblogging Search Engine 

Twingly  is a fairly new blog search site that works quite well. It is simple, easy to use and can get you right into the heart of a discussion immediately. Use it to search a variety of sites – Twitter, Jaiku, Identi.ca, Bleeper.de, Bloggy.se and Pownce archives (since the service is now dead). 5. Tweetvisor A Contender For Best Alternate Twitter Interface
Tweetvisor,  is a browser based solution, allowing you to post to your account, search for topics, get direct messages, get replies in real-time.  Tweetvisor places messages from other users directed to you (replies and direct messages) in the sidebar, and offers search in the middle of the screen. Users can save searches and see when new results pop up for that query.

6. Twitterfriends: gives you the stats on your Twitter network

Twitterfriends generates statistics about your conversations on Twitter. It presents a visualization of your incoming and outgoing networks. Your incoming network includes all Twitter users that replied or referred to you on Twitter the last 30 days at least twice. And the outgoing network – your relevant net – includes all Twitter users you referred or replied at least twice. You can see three things on this diagram: Popularity, Overlap, and Friends. To see your relevant network and some stats about your tweeting behavior compared to other Twitter users, just enter your (or another) Twitter username. The twitter-friends.com app is very mathematical. Guess the example: My conversation quotient is a 61.5%, which is above average.

7. Twtcard.com – Greeting Cards Powered By Twitter 

Twtcard.com one will allow you to type in your intended message, and then copy the link which is generated. Simply enter a 140 char message, choose a “square-face”.  From that point onwards, you can use that link in order to send anybody a greeting card or just a surprise message if that is what you want.

8. Twtvite Makes Organizing Tweetups Easy
