A good book opens a young mind to a world of imagination and knowledge. It can amaze and delight, entertain and inform.  ePub Bud is a non-profit organization dedicated to getting free children’s e-books to the masses. Students and authors, publishers, illustrators, and all of the possibilities that is held within that can now take advantage of the current devices that support the ePub standard. ePubBud.com has made it as simple as the iPad itself.  you can browse thousands of free children’s e-books, convert your existing children’s books and e-books into the ePub format, or publish your own electronic children’s book to share with the world (or just your family).

Excellent childrens books are available for every age group. Whether your child has a wild imagination or prefers to learn about the physical world, there are books to get him or her reading. The site appearance resembles Youtube and shares similar functionality. There is a tools to search for existing works, create your own and download them to your device. The organization will also accept childrens books that you mail to them, which they will then take and digitize.

ePub Bud was founded by Josh Jones, co-founder of DreamHost, and is dedicated to the memory of his son, Wren.
