Firefox for Windows Mobile screenshots!

The alpha build of Mobile Firefox (codenamed Fennec) has been available for testing by brave Nokia N810 users for some time now. The new version of Firefox mobile, code-named Fennec, is already running on the Linux-based Nokia N810 tablet, but early released on the Windows Mobile platform will occur “within the next few months”, according to Jay Sullivan, Mozilla vice president of mobile.

From the few screenshots we would like to say that Firefox Mobile has a pretty good look and may become a very popular mobile internet soft, unfortunately we can’t tell for sure if it really is as good as it looks if we don’t get to test it. If the screenshot on the left looks rather crowded for a mobile browser, it’s important to keep in mind that Fennec works in full screen mode most of the time. The location bar, tab menu, and even forward, back, and reload buttons are all designed to disappear when you’re not using them. But Fennec does seem to take an interesting approach to tabbed browsing by presenting thumbnails of open pages, which seems both useful and like a potential waste of processing power on mobile devices.
