One Billion Minds was founded by a group of friends from top Indian and European universities. The One Billion Minds mission is to engage a billion young people to change the world by solving real problems posed by Corporations and Non Profits.
The way it all works is quite direct and effective, as students who join the site can have a look at the featured challenges and make pitches which are there and then discussed by the other members of the community. The companies and non-profits that have posted the challenge evaluate the solutions that are eventually put their way, and the one who came up with the best idea wins.
Every Challenge has a Prize.Prizes include cash, professional recognition and opportunities to interview for full time and internship positions. Students compete in teams or individually to solve the challenge, win a prize and change the world!
