OpenZine.com – A Communal Magazine
OpenZine is a service that provides regular people with essential tools to create really amazing things, display it with equal quality and enable them to socially share, control and manage their idea. They are a couple of brothers, Humby & Kiki, from Miami who as kids had Punk Rock Magazine. They decided to take their experience online and show people how they can do too. According to OpenZine editors Humby and Kiki Valdes, this is an “urban subculture magazine.” OpenZine is based on idea to have a site work like a magazine that’s more indepth then the blog, with you drawing content and ideas from other users, creating a collaborative effort that can then be shared and enjoyed by the whole community.
It gives simple way to create content, and once you get the hang of it, you’ll start to enjoy the experience. The site is very attractive and many people have enjoyed its concept and shared the content they created. This takes the concept of content sharing and blows it out of the park. Some of the things on the site are truly amazing, standing as a testament of how good the idea is. It’s a breakthrough as users publish online in a magazine style blog.
