Pastebud allows Copy/Paste between Safari and Mail
If you have an iPhone you will know that the top item on the feature wishlist is a copy and paste facility. There are been many efforts to bring copy/paste to the iPhone. First was iCopy to copy and paste within Safari and then Zag White (Creator of MagicPad) came up with OpenClip which could allow Copy/Paste between all applications using the OpenClip framework. And now, we have Pastebud. It allows Copy/Paste within Safari and Mail application. This does not require a jailbroken phone or even the app store. It is simply a clever bookmarklet that uses Pastbuds servers to allow you to hightlight some text and then use a second bookmarklet to paste the content.
All you have to do is fire up Safari on your iPhone or iPod Touch, or a web browser on a computer that syncs with your iTunes. Then you follow the directions on pastebud’s website to bookmark a COPY and a PASTE link. You have to edit a bit of the link, since pastebud had to be creative with it. You cannot bookmark a javascript in Mobile Safari, so they had to put a bit of extra text on the front of the link that you just edit out after setting the bookmark. Then, you just save your secret pastebud address as a contact on your iPhone or iPod Touch.Have a look at the following video to see how the app works
