Shadow is the brand new clipboard utility for Mac OS X. Shadow is a multiple clipboard manager that can share your clippings over your local network, share images and text with your friend and co-workers, copy on one machine, paste on another! Although it’s in public beta, Shadow is already highly usable. It records your clipboard history automatically, and you can summon it with a hotkey or the menu icon
Shadow allows the background color to be customized so that the text can be read when the screen is dimmed down. As it is right now one needs to flip through the clipping to be able to read them. It also would be great if one could customize the height of a clipping block to show more clippings in the window. Allow it to show in Every Space.
In Shadow, you can have any number of clipboards you want. For example you could make a clipboard named “My Diary”, and choose not to share it. It means that the clipboard is not available on the network at all, and only on the Mac you are using. If you want to share it with some people, but not others, you can password protect them too!
