Spring - Open Source RTS Game
Open source is not only come in a software. A RTS (realtime strategy) game named Spring come with open source concept.
TA Spring is an open source project aiming to create a new RTS game. By default there is XTA mod known from Total Annihilation to get something to play with. Plus You can play additional mods like Absolute Annihilation, UberHack, etc. It reads original TA unit formats directly without conversions needed, so 3rd party units work just as well as the original ones.
Don’t worry with the graphic of this game, highly detailed maps in which to wage those battles and water effect is very good even tough this game absolutely free.
