Sprouter Collaborate and Connect Entrepreneurs
Sprouter aims to introduce and connect entrepreneurs, small businesses and start ups with their ideas, knowledge, opinion and potentially funding. Entrepreneurs can expand networks, discover events, start discussions, and follow topics relevant to their business.
CEO Sarah Prevette explains that this initiative was born out of her own experiences when working on another project of hers named Upinion.com and eventually realizing the difficulties that every person goes through as regards self-promoting his or her own vision and spicing the interest of others – in short, connecting with the right people at the right time. Where Twitter asks the question, “What are you doing?” – Sprouter asks entrepreneurs the question “What are you working on?” In this way, the relevant connections can be made and fruitful conversations can be started.
Sprouter works very much like Twitter. You can share what you are working on or solicit feedback from others. With hash-tags, direct messages, followers, followees, users will quickly settle into the sites familiar environment and allow them to start engaging with topics, businesses and individuals that interest them and their current involvement’s. Sprouter is extremely easy to navigate and all content is presented in an organized and clean way. The way replies are set up as it allows you to follow the conversation and see the conversation as it is happening.
