Tweak your windows explorer
There are several tips to tweak your windows explorer.
Folder Size Column in Windows Explorer
1. Download Folder Size and install it.
2. Open an explorer window in details view and right click on the column headers to see a list of columns you can add. Choose Folder Size.
Make your folder invisible (not only hidden)
1. Make new folder
2. Rename it, hold ALT and type 0160 on the number pad.
3. Right click the folder, choose propertise. Change the icon to invisible icon
Tabs in your windows explorer
1. Download QTTabbar (you need Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or 3.0).
2. Extract and open RegisterQTTabBar.exe. to install.
3. Choose ‘install’ and click next, after that you must restart your computer to get the tabs work.
4. After relogon, you need to open explorer, and right click on toolbar. Check “QT TabBar”. The first time maybe you will get empty tab, close windows explorer and open it again.
Hide Folder Options Menu
Hide your folder & don’t forget to hide folder options too
1. Click Start > Run > type ‘regedit’
2. Browse HKEY_CURRENT_USER choose Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Explorer.
3. You can find ‘NoFolderOptions’ in right windows, right click > modify > change value data to ‘1′.
