TweenTribune: News for tweens, by tweens
Online news and newspaper sites are either struggling to attract audiences or generate revenue (and some struggle with both). Tween Tribune with news entirely devoted to tweens. Tweens who are interested in and allows readers to submit their own stories and photos as well as post comments about stories and links to stories they want to share. The site, which has links to articles from Reuters, Newsday, ABC News and Yahoo, among others, was developed by newspaper and web site designer Alan Jacobson’s Norfolk, Va.-based Brass Tacks Design. The founder, Alan Jacobson, combs through hundreds of sites each day to find the stories that he believes will satisfy the interests of his tween audience and then organizes them.
On the site, which looks like a standard news site, you’ll be able to glance through stories written by Tweens which are aimed at the same age group.The site is updated constantly, with the latest news from the Tween world. Entirely, the news are very well researched and entertaining, you may check yourself.
