Website Snapshots With FireShot

‘FireShot is a Firefox extension that creates screenshots of web pages. Unlike other extensions. FireShot appears with its unique image annotation capabilities that differs among the several web screenshot capturing extensions available. This plugin creates web snapshots in many options. The user can choose to capture the whole website or only their visible area (area that you see in your browser, which in this case must be FireFox).

Once you’ve taken the screenshot, the screenshot is displayed in a new window along with tools for adding text, transparent shapes you can use to highlight some area, arrows and free hand drawing. FireShot not only creates snapshots for websites but also can upload it into FireShot’s image hosting. This is a one stop solution for bloggers who doesn’t care where their images are stored as long as it is visible as visitors looking at their sites. The Screenshots can be saved as PNG’s, JPEG’s or as Bitmaps. You can also, copy them to clipboard, email them or even edit them further in Paint (Do you use Paint to edit your images??). For web captures it currently doesn’t get any better than with this extension. You can get FireShot at Mozilla Add-on.
