The ability to easily sell your work is the essential part of success in making money on the net. Personal branding encourages everyone to have their own websites but many people don’t know how to create a shopping cart or use many of the other more complicated services. Vendr is a beautiful implementation of a great concept. It allows you to integrate a fully functional store right on top of your existing site. So not only do you not lose people from your site, you have yet another reason for them to stay.
The free plan at Vendr lets you sell 5 products at any given time, allowing up to 9 images for each product. You can accept payments through different merchant solutions like PayPal and Google Checkout and even see store stats through a user friendly dashboard. Whether you sell photos, crafts, music, or clothes, you can get started selling your wares online by choosing a pricing plan based on your products and anticipated sales. You’ll be guided through a series of set-up questions that allow you to input your inventory, prices, and shipping guidelines. The result of this work will be a few simple lines of HTML code, which can be pasted into the code for your existing website or blog.
Vendr users can also create coupons for storewide, category or specific product use, with options for expiration dates or other restrictions. Multiple photos can reflect the options your customers choose, and a central dashboard gives business owners a view of all store activities. Inventory management options are available, as are alerts when a particular product runs low. Vendr doesn’t charge any transaction or setup fee for the free plan.

Do you know that you can to turn your extra monitor into a news streaming device? GlowDart. Its a streaming service – decide what resources youre interested in and it’ll just stream a flood of data at you. With GlowDart you can read the latest news as if they were a river that flows across your screen, from top to bottom. This site makes the expression “stream of information” come truly alive.
You can actually set down the channels that mean something to you from the “settings” menu, and you can also pause the stream at any moment if something catches your eye. You can choose news feeds from a variety of services like CNN, BBC, Digg, YouTube, Twitter trends and Hulu. You can also choose to display feeds from your Facebook and Twitter accounts. You also have the option to switch between a light and a dark theme and pause the stream whenever you feel like it.
The coolest thing about GlowDart is the ability to add your Twitter or Facebook account to it, so you can read updates in real time. The interface of GlowDart is polished and just the right size for viewing at a distance. Disappointing, however, is the lack of customizable feeds. the selection is limited to a handful of pre-selected feeds, including Google News, Twitter Trends and Digg. It would be nice if you could import your own RSS feeds, even limited in number, into GlowDart.
